Salary Converter
Convert pay between annual, monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly rates.
How it works
The converter assumes 52 weeks, 260 workdays, and 2,080 work hours per year. Results are gross-pay equivalents before taxes or deductions.
When to use this tool
Use this converter when you want to compare an annual salary with monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly gross pay. It is useful for comparing job offers that quote compensation in different ways and for building a quick personal budget.
How the result is calculated
The standard full-time comparison uses 52 weeks, 260 workdays, and 2,080 work hours per year. Annual salary divided by 2,080 gives the hourly equivalent; dividing by 12 or 52 gives monthly and weekly equivalents.
Worked example
For example, a $75,000 annual salary is about $36.06 per hour using a 40-hour week. The same gross salary is $6,250 per month or about $1,442.31 per week before deductions.
What to keep in mind
This is a gross-pay comparison, not a take-home-pay estimate. Taxes, unpaid time off, overtime, bonuses, benefits, retirement contributions, and local payroll rules can materially change what reaches your bank account.
